CSR Asia and Louis Dreyfus Company organised a roundtable discussion on responsible agribusiness. It is the first one to be held for GRAISEA (Gender Transformative and Responsible Agribusiness Investments in South East Asia), a development programme funded by the Government of Sweden and implemented by Oxfam.
The invitees vary from multinational consumer goods, commodities sourcing company, and investment and banking sector. Key discussion points revolve around the role of agribusiness in achieving Sustainable Development Goals and the role of women throughout the value chain. With a diversity of background and expertise, and drawing from previous two research papers, the attendees share their insights and aspirations to reach the gender transformative ladder in agribusiness.
