[RECAP] Shipper Launching and Discussion on Logistics Tech Innovation in Indonesia
On Wednesday (04/10), ANGIN was invited to attend the launching of Shipper at Block71, Ariobimo Sentral, Jakarta. In this event, Shipper signed an MoU with PT POS Indonesia which marks the official cooperation between the two and held a panel discussion entitled “Innovation in Logistics Technology in Indonesia” by featuring Mr. Agus Handoyo as Director of PT POS Indonesia, Mr. Hadi Kuncoro as CEO of FeedR. id and Mr. Andi S. Boediman as investors of Ideasource as speakers, accompanied by Herry Fahrul Rizal as moderator.
The existence of logistics services has a very important function. Therefore, the problem of service quality, the accuracy of delivery of goods and customer convenience become the key to the success of the logistics business. Recognizing this, Shipper, a provider of delivery service platforms in Indonesia, is here to assist consumers by providing price comparison services from various logistics service providers in Indonesia, booking services, pick-up and delivery tracking. To date Shipper has been working with 19 logistic services in Indonesia such as POS Indonesia, JNE, J & T, Tiki, RPX, REX, Wahana, Sicepat, Lion Parcel, Ninja Xpress, Grab Parcel, AtriXpress, aCommerce, ARK Express, Popbox, Fedex , DHL, Aramex and iCommerce.
Established since December 2016, Shipper has been operating in Jabodetabek area, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, Kediri and Solo. Next Shipper plans to partner and open new networks in more than 20 other big cities within the next 2 months. Until now Shipper has helped Indonesian consumers ship their goods to 8,000 urban villages, 2,900 districts and 464 cities across Indonesia. Shipper has also gained recognition with numerous awards, among them 2nd Amvesindo Demo Day Champion, 2nd Winner of Seedstars World Jakarta, 3rd Winner of G-Startup World Jakarta and Finalist Creative Business Cup 2017.
