Shinta Kamdani is Guest Speaker at EAT Asia-Pacific Food Forum

ANGIN is very proud to announce that one of our Angel Investors, Shinta Kamdani, has been invited to be a speaker at the EAT Asia-Pacific Food Forum 2017.
Accompanying Shinta Kamdani, other guest speakers range from H. E. Joko Widodo (President of the Republic of Indonesia), Dr. Gunhild A. Stordalen (Founder & President, EAT Foundation), and Cherrie De Erit Atilano (President & Founding Farmer, AGREA) alongside other highly respected speakers.
EAT Asia-Pacific Food Forum 2017
30-31st October 2017, Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta
EAT Asia-Pacific Food Forum will host over 500 leading international and regional politicians, scientists, business executives, innovators, activists and chefs to address health and environmental challenges related to food in the Asia-Pacific region. They will discuss progress on transforming the food system, provide insights into the latest research, share best policy and industry practices, explore new trends, present some of the innovative ideas flourishing across the food value chain, and share ideas whilst building synergies.
The high-level speakers will present topics ranging from changing food consumption trends, to building resilience in the food value chain, sustainable aquaculture, pathways to food security and recipes for future healthy and sustainable diets.
Shinta Kamdani will be presenting in the 2pm-3pm session on the 30th October, discussing the topic of ‘Building Resilience In Asia-Pacific’s Food Value Chain’.
Shinta Kamdani’s Profile
As Owner and Chief Executive Officer of the Sintesa Group, Shinta is responsible for the Management and Expansion of the Group’s business interests in Indonesia. The Sintesa Group is an Indonesian group with 17 subsidiaries, which operate in the Property, Industrial Products, Energy and Consumer Products. Shinta sits as Vice Chairwoman of Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), as Deputy Chairwoman of the Employers’ Association of Indonesia (APINDO), as well as President of Indonesia Business Council for Sustainable Development (IBCSD), and as Executive Board Member of World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) International. She also sits in the steering committee of Indonesia Climate Change Trust Fund (ICCTF).
