ANGIN and Connector.id teams (David Soukhasing and Valencia Dea) were in Iran invited by the D-8 TTEN secretariat who organized the Technology Investment Meeting (TIM) this December 3rd – 5th, 2017 in Pardis Technology Park, Tehran, Iran.  
D-8 Technology Transfer and Exchange Network is an informative and transaction-enabled network to be set up among the Eight Developing Muslim Countries including: Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey.  
Overall, TIM2017 could manage its first event in Tehran and during the two-day event, 2 Keynote Speeches, 4 panels titled CVC, Business Angel, Government role to develop VC and Evaluation of Startups, 4 VC fund presentations by SARAVA PARS, Iran, Connector id, Indonesia, MAVCAP, Malaysia, KMP, Malaysia, 2 startup stories, 5 pitches by selected start-ups and one workshop were the programs for around 150 participants from Bangladesh, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey.
Most of the attendees were VC funds, firms, Start-ups, investment experts, government representatives and panelists.
