Repost from UNV Indonesia: Closing meeting of #IYEPL2017* in Indonesia, with participation of 5 Indian youth volunteers, organizations supported the one-month youth exchange and peer learning programme, UNDP Indonesia, UNFPA Indonesia, UNICEF Indonesia IANYD (Inter Agency Networks on Youth Development) UN Indonesia, United Nations in Indonesia and UNV India. 5 youth volunteers shared their learning, meeting new people, inspiration and volunteering experience in Indonesia for the last one month. Supporting partners also commented their positive mutual learning from young motivated Indian volunteers, raising awareness on SDGs, making new friends from abroad, etc. Wish the IYEPL2017 participants all the best in taking new initiatives and making success back home. Look forward to continuous collaboration with all partners again!

*IYEPL is realized under the project called ‘Strengthening Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan(NYKS) and National Service Scheme” in India. The four year project (2014-17) has been jointly implemented by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, UNV India and UNDP in India, aiming to promote youth volunteering by strengthening two of the largest youth volunteering infrastructures (NYKS and NSS) in India. The project is guided by the National Youth Policy (2014), the 12th Five Year Plan of India.
