On Wednesday (13/12), ANGIN organized a workshop for Rise Inc’s Incubatees from Cohort 4.

As social enterprises need to deal with multiple stakeholders (i.e. investors, donors, government, beneficiaries, public,…),  ANGIN set up a workshop on the strategy to tailor pitch contents depending on occasion and target audience, In addition, ANGIN also thoroughly explained investors’ general perspective in assessing an investment opportunity with a hope that these incubatees can deliver the messages investors need to hear on their final pitching session.

On this occassion, we shared this workshop session with Connector.ID team’, which provided a broad overview of capital provider landscape in Indonesia. Their session was beneficial especially for early-stage enterprises who were still unfamiliar of fundraising. As the incubatees learned about different type of financial instrument and various preferences of investors, by the end of the session, we found that all incubatees could correctly mention the right capital provider for their needs.

Although the workshop was organized quite early in the morning, the incubatees were surprisingly very engaging and participative. Around 8 social enterprises joined the workshop, including JALA, Agradaya, Javanas, Kopi Keliling, Sekolah Rakyat, Sekolah Repoeblijk, and Stvdent.

As we feel their enthusiasm, we are excited to see how these social enterprises will grow.

Looking forward to supporting their future journey!
