About Burgreens
Burgreens is Jakarta’s first organic healthy eatery, catering and delivery company specialized in delicious plant-based dishes. Founded in 2013 by Helga and Max, they are now operating two restaurants in Tebet and Bintaro. Their specialty includes veggie burgers, creative plant-based meals, superfood smoothies, vegan desserts, and gluten-free snacks.
Being a social enterprise, they source most of their ingredients directly from local farmers and food artisans at a premium price, work with underprivileged women in their production kitchen, and continually educate the local market about healthy living through their Burgreens Goes to School program and community events.
What Burgreens is aiming to achieve
Their vision is to make healthy and more sustainable food as delicious, fun, convenient, and accessible as junk food. Thanks to the new investment, they will be expanding through their new concept of “Burgreens Express” (organic healthy fast food kiosk) which will be located in multiple strategic locations in Jakarta such as malls and office buildings.
