[PORTFOLIO] Du’Anyam: Continues Empowering Rural Women in Indonesia

On Saturday, October 14th 2017, ANGIN team visited Du’Anyam founder, Azalea Ayuningtyas together with their marketing manager, Samuel, during CRAFINA 2017 exhibition located in Jakarta Convention Centre.
Du’Anyam is a women-led social enterprise that produces and distributes wicker crafts to economically empower and improve the health of women in rural Indonesia.
ANGIN is pleased to hear updates on Du’Anyam’s progress this year, as well as their expansion plan for the future. As one of our portfolio companies that has been running for 3 years, Du’Anyam continuously promote the development of livelihood of rural women through meaningful collaboration with local creative brands, increasing brand exposures to support the cause, and even exporting to other countries!
In ANGIN, we support women-led entrepreneurs through bringing more access, initiating programs and partnerships, as well as advocating gender-lens investing in hope of closing the gender gap in entrepreneurship ecosystem. We are surely very excited to see Du’Anyam’s next steps and looking forward to sharing more news on their contribution to Indonesian women. Keep up the amazing work and keep being an inspiration!
