SheVC is an initiative originally launched by SoGal Ventures, the first female-led millennial venture capital fund investing in diverse entrepreneurs in the U.S. and Asia.
The idea is to build a global community of female investors. It is aimed to empower fellow female talents in investment background and support a new generation of young women who aspire to be in the space. SheVC is present in Singapore, Shanghai, Sydney, HK, Bangkok and now Indonesia.
Each chapter will have a director (or two) who organize monthly gatherings and events to help female investors to:
- network
- share resources and information
- raise the profile of other female investors through media exposure, speaking engagement and community building
- inspire and educate young female to become investor
SheVC Indonesia was recently formed in October 2017. Currently, it has 20+ members coming from female VC investors. They are open to expand their wings. For any inquiry or potential partnership, kindly contact clairine@convergencevc.com
