(15/11) ANGIN attended a focus group discussion and a business matching session organized by BPPT’s Incubator Technology Office (Balai Inkubator Teknologi abbreviated as BIT) at Technology Business Incubation Center Building, Serpong. The purpose of the event was to help BPPT’s BIT tenants to find buyers and investors.
BPPT (Badan Pengkajian dan Penerapan Teknologi, English: Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology) is a non-departmental governmental organization under the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Indonesia. The task of BPPT is to assess and find the application of technologies.
BIT (Balai Inkubator Teknologi, English: Incubator Technology Office) is an incubator by BPPT tasked to help entrepreneurs create a new technology-based business unit.
Dr. Ir. Dudi Iskandar, M.For.Sc, Dr. Ir. Gatot Dwianto, M.Eng., and Dr. Ir. Anugerah Widiyanto, Bsc., M.Eng were among the speakers in the focus group discussion. The presentation showcased BPPT BIT’s successful graduates, among which are a baby incubator manufacturing company and an algae cultivation company. The focus group discussion was then followed by a Q&A session.
After the Q&A session, 20 of BPPT BIT’s tenants pitched their products and their companies. The products and companies pitched in the business pitching session are:

- CV Global Usaha Bersama (Inspection robot)
- PT Hebat Innovation Indonesia (Business simulator software)
Among the buyers, investors, and partners that were invited to attend the business matching are ANGIN, Kinara Indonesia, Kresna Venture Capital, PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero), and APERLINDO (Asosiasi Industri Perlampuan Listrik Indonesia).
