Wed, September 19th, 2018 – ANGIN team was honored to be one of the mentors for Indofood Local Pitching Competition 2018 hosted by PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk, BLOCK71 Jakarta and Scaling-Up Nutrition Business Network (SBN) . The judges were Ravi Menon (Country Director of Indonesia at Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), Rajis Sinaga (Chief Representative Office at Truvalu Group) dan Ellen Nio (Associate at Patamar Capital).
Before showcasing their businesses in the final pitch of ILPC 2018, all the 10 startups finalist which came from Jakarta, East Java, Yogyakarta Special Region, and West Nusa Tenggara had a mentoring session from Angel Investment Network (ANGIN)’s team and Nazier Ariffin (Telkomsel’s Head of Investment) to get the feedback and sharpen their presentation point.

According to Axton Salim, Director of PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk, one of the reasons why Rumah Kelor happened to be the first winner because they also think about how far the impact will help the certain community, in this case, is the nutritional problems in Indonesia. Other than cash, they received exclusive mentoring from the sponsors, and a covered trip to Nutrition Africa Investment 2018 SBN Global di Nairobi, Kenya in Oktober 2018 for the first winner.
We hope this event can be an open opportunity from various parties do develop of nutrition platform for national and regional scale.
