Kapal Api Global initiated a program named ‘Secangkir Semangat #BuatNyataTujuanmu 2019’. This program aimed to create future sociopreneurs and share its spirit, and is supported by BEKRAF (Indonesian Agency of Creative Economy). After receiving approximately 5000 business proposals, this initiative selected 20 finalists from all over Indonesia to give presentation and show their business ideas on Saturday, 23 February 2019 at Grand Hyatt, Jakarta.
On this occasion, there was a ‘Coffee Talk’ session with the topic ‘Siap Jadi Sociopreneur Nyata’ in which angel investor of ANGIN, Iwan Murty, had the honor to be one of the speaker along with Christeven Mergonoto from Kapal Api Global Ltd., David Christian from Evoware, and Roostiawati from the Ministry of Labor Affairs.
As an angel investor, Iwan Murty applauded the participants for being able to create business ideas that could solve social problems. He advised that sustainability of business is important, and that young sociopreneurs should pay attention to certain things such as capital, target market, and capital allocation for their business to keep running.
