Last Friday, on April 26th, ANGIN organized its first ever joint workshop with AWS (Amazon Web Services) in Surabaya. Gema and Atika, the investment team of ANGIN organized and attended the event. The event aimed to introduce the local startup ecosystem to new entrepreneurs in the area, insights on why startup failed, as well as giving insights about product development with AWS, and fundraising with ANGIN. This workshop was well attended by around 50 participants who are mostly founders of local tech enabled startups.
The first session was led by our invited speakers: Adryan Hafidzh (Kolaborasi), Fadli Wilihandarwo (KUMPUL), and Aditya Hadi Pratama (East Venture). Each speaker shared their views on startup enabling organisation and the kind of contribution these organizations bring into the local startup ecosystem. Then, ANGIN facilitated a short breakout session with these speakers to help attendees gain a deeper understanding. The two following sessions (product development and fundraising) were led by AWS and ANGIN respectively.
Attendees were given a chance to participate in a Q&A session with AWS and ANGIN team members. For the last session, we invited Maximillian Audrey from Riliv to share his journey as a startup founder and how he overcomes pain points throughout his career. The event was concluded with dinner and networking session.
