Collaborating with Amazon Web Service, ANGIN held its first ever joint workshop in Jogja on May 3rd. This workshop was well attended by around 70 participants with diverse backgrounds, ranging from tech students, web developers, to startup founders. Gema, Atika, and Irien organized and attended this event as part of ANGIN team.
The workshop was divided into four sessions with each one exploring topics such as ecosystem players, product development, fundraising, and startup journey. The first session was led by our invited speakers: Geri Gebyar (Jogja Digital Valley), and Luthfan Herdyanto (CoHive).
Each speaker shared their views as a startup enabling organisation on the type of contribution these organisations have on the local ecosystem. Then, ANGIN facilitated a short breakout session with these speakers to help attendees gain a deeper understanding about the role of startup ecosystem players. The two following sessions (product development and fundraising) were led by AWS and ANGIN respectively. Attendees were given a chance to participate in a q&a session with AWS and ANGIN team members. For the last session, we invited three CTOs: Petra Barus (99.co Indonesia), Guritno Adi Saputro (PrivyID), and Syauqy Aziz (Jala) to share their journey in their respective startups and how they navigate their way out of a problem.
