In May 23rd & 24th, ANGIN (Represented by Atika & Gema) had the opportunity to participate in Echelon Asia Summit 2019 held at Singapore EXPO convention and exhibition centre, Singapore. This two days technology start-up event had over 15,000 attendees from all over Asia, consisting of entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, investors and other startup enthusiasts. There were over 100 exhibiting startups from Asia including Indonesia, Singapore, Korea, and more. Each of these startups were given a chance to pitch their ideas on the stage.
Along the exhibition, there were inspiring discussions by key players in Southeast Asia (SEA) ecosystem such as Raditya Pramana (Partner of Venturra Discovery), Melisa Irene (Partner of East Ventures ), Kelvin Teo (Co-Founder of Funding Societies/ Modalku), Zhuling Chen (Co-Founder of AELF), along with the others. Some of the highlights of the discussion were topics of the trend in Southeast Asia Startup Ecosystem, QA session with Southeast Asia VCs, and Alternative Fundraising Models for Tech Startups.
The event was resourceful and it allowed ANGIN the opportunity to learn from key players in the ecosystem through the speaker sessions as well as expanding our networking reach with Asian tech startup players.
