Panel session: Fostering Partnership between the Private Sector and Department of Industry and Trade of Yogyakarta in Cultivating IT Startups.
On 18th July 2019, Department of Industry and Trade Yogyakarta convened a panel discussion in fostering partnership with the private sector to develop the growing tech-based entrepreneurship. It is an important move for the government as Yogyakarta has been home of technology talents and innovations in the IT sector. This session was well attended by various IT entrepreneurs from different sectors, such as fintech, IoT, digital design and animation studio.
The panel was opened by a keynote presentation Anas (CEO of RBC Pro). He introduced a digital marketing solutions to help entrepreneurs grow their business better. Then, Benedikta Atika (Impact Investment Lead) represented ANGIN to share how we contribute in developing IT entrepreneurship in Indonesia. We introduced the basic of angel investment scheme and other capital providers available in the startup fundraising landscape. Additionally, we explored potential collaboration that can be done to help entrepreneurs access wider network in the ecosystem.
Such panel session is helpful to bridge conversation between different key stakeholders in the sector.
