Endeavor Indonesia’s annual event, Scale-Up Asia 2019 was held on November 20th at The Hall Ballroom, Senayan City Mall, Jakarta. This event was a continuation of the previous pitching training by ANGIN Investment Team, Benedikta Atika (Impact Investment Lead), Gema Minang (Tech Investment Lead), and Robialmay Naufalmahdy (Investment Analyst), for the ten finalists. The winners presented their startups in front of all the attendees at the final event of Endeavor Pitch-Up competition. The top three winners were Piniship, a web platform that connects business with cargo, Mospaze, an on-demand warehouse platform, and Zendmoney, a multi-currency money transfer network startup.
This event was filled with insightful panels, covering topics from collaborative environment between public and private sectors to high-impact womenpreneurs, followed by inspirational talks. At one of the talks, Handry Satriago (GE Indonesia) told the audience to have 4F: faith in yourself, have friends, fight for your dream, and have fun while doing that.
After the talk, the top three finalists were announced and the event ended with a panel discussion by Fajrin Rasyid (BukaLapak) and Jason Thompson (OVO) about how to tackle challenges in growing a unicorn.
