Parakerja
Muhammad Rezki Achyana founded Parakerja to create employment opportunities for people with disabilities in various sectors. The online platform offers a hiring portal tailored for persons with disabilities, alongside providing Indonesian Sign Language courses and translation services. Achyana, a dedicated advocate for inclusion, also serves as a country representative for Indonesia’s Special Education Network and Inclusion Association. He leverages his influence on TikTok to raise awareness about the importance of inclusivity. Last year, Parakerja was selected for an accelerator program supported by Japan’s development agency JICA. Liberty Society
Tamara Dewi Gondo Soerijo co-founded Liberty Society to empower marginalized women, particularly refugees from the Middle East and Africa residing in Indonesia. Liberty Society runs workshops that teach artisans to create products from recycled materials, which are then sold to corporations. Their upcycled goods, including tote bags and corporate gifts, have been embraced by companies like Samsung and AXA Indonesia. Surplus
Muhammad Agung Saputra and his co-founders launched Surplus in 2021 with the mission to tackle food waste in Indonesia. Their app connects major food suppliers, including hotels, malls, and farmers, with consumers to sell excess food at reduced prices. Surplus has successfully attracted major clients like Marriott International and Jakarta’s Mall Sarinah, extending its services to Greater Jakarta, Bandung, and Bali. HearMe - Bayer Women Empowerment Award 2024
The Bayer Foundation Women Empowerment Award (WEA), powered by Impact Hub Network, is a vibrant celebration of women entrepreneurs leading innovative change. This award goes beyond mere recognition; it is a dedication to support women pioneering in health, nutrition and related climate-smart solutions.

Hear Me
Athalia Mutiara Laksmi, CEO of HearMe shared to ANGIN that the inspiration for Hear Me, which focuses on accessibility, came about by chance. One day, she met a deaf online taxi driver who shared his struggles with communication, which often led to poor reviews. This encounter inspired the creation of Hear Me, aiming to raise awareness about sign language and communication barriers.
HearMe is the first Indonesian Sign Language Translator with a 3D animation display to give information access and bridge the communication between the Deaf and the non-Deaf (Hearing).
