First held in 2017, the Indonesia Development Forum (IDF) is an international conference hosted by Bappenas. IDF provides a platform for development practitioners in the public, private, and non-profit sectors to meet and exchange ideas.
This year, IDF highlights Future Work Opportunities to Drive Inclusive Growth. In Startup Ecosystem Chamber, where the idea is to foster job’s transformation in the future, ANGIN’s VIP booth alongside Indonesia champion startups and unicorns visited by Jusuf Kalla, the Vice President of the Republic Indonesia at the 1st day of the event. ANGIN is emphasizing its committed role as nurturer of startup ecosystem in Indonesia.
On the second day, ANGIN’s managing director David Soukhasing speak in the Imagine Fostering Social Enterprises panel with Ari Sutanti from British Council and Evan Filbert from UPN, moderated by Asian Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN)’s Dini Septianti.
At the closing event, ANGIN angel Shinta Widjadja Kamdani, CEO, Sintesa Group spoke with the panel of Prof. Bambang P.S. Brodjonegoro, Minister for National Development Planning and Head of the National Development Planning Agency, Republic of Indonesia; T. Agus Sriyono, Director, ATMI Polytechnic College, Surakarta; Vice Governor of East Nusa Tenggara; and Muhammad Hanif Dhakiri, Minister of Labour Republic Indonesia. The plenary was moderated by Timothy Marbun, Kompas TV.
In the long run, ANGIN is hoping that we can pursue impactful collaborations with the Indonesia development players to share and nurture the best practices in startup ecosystem and their businesses value chain.
