Dream Agritech
Dream Agritech is a collective of Agriculturists from different fields and their goal is to help people turn their vision, their dream farm, into reality. Dream Agritech was formed when someone asked the Founder and CEO of Dream Agritech, Joseph Carl Dakila I. Olfindo, to consult on a poultry project. He is a Horticulturist by training, so he referred the client to his colleague, who specialized in poultry production. From there, he came with the idea of forming a team of specialists from different fields of agriculture.
From a business perspective, Dream Agritech saw the need for timely and bespoke advice at the farm level. Most farms here in Indonesia fail to innovate, but merely copy off their neighbors management style and use traditional technologies and methods in agriculture. They want to encourage people with zero background in farming to pursue agriculture and invest in the tech sector by developing their previously underutilized/idle lands. This long term solution can be applied across the entire spectrum of the farming enterprise, as our product covers it from start to finish.
Dakila mentions that some of the long-term effects of their solutions include equipping clients with better knowledge, skill, and management acumen, in the context of farming. No longer are decisions made by guesswork, but through information and data based decision-making. Also, sustainable approaches are always part and parcel of their product, ensuring that the future generations will be able to continue farming. Their dedication, not only for clients but also for consumers and the environment, yields the achievement of assisting 75 hectares of land to date (in the form of various studies, farm visits, and farm plans) and they are planning to help develop more lands.
