On Thu (28/6) ANGIN was kindly invited by Bizcom.ID to attend a talk on Social Entrepeneurship at Fairmont Hotel, Senayan Jakarta. The topic of “How to start? Why is it growing in the developed countries?” was thoroughly discussed with Fransisca Adinda as the moderator; and speakers of the event include Helga (founder of Burgreens), Tom Schmittzehe (Business Development at uberiscapital.com), Dondi Hananto (Partner at Patamar Capital) and Dita Aisyah (Chief Business Development Officer at Binar Academy).
The talk focuses on the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Indonesia and dealt deeper on how we can react to the growing startup ecosystem in Indonesia; by benchmarking on what has been done in developed countries. The discussion is initially aimed towards social entrepreneurs and how they could improve social welfare, including local farmers.
Overall, we got to observe the social entrepreneurship ecosystem from a different point of view. We look forward to future Bizcom gatherings!
