[CALL FOR APPLICATION] UNESCO Regional Workshop on SETI in DRR in Asia and the Pacific

“Strengthening, Empowering, and Mobilizing Youth and Young Professionals in SETI for DRR”
A workshop to stimulate and inspire youth and young professionals in Asia and the Pacific Countries to use science, engineering, technology, and innovation capacity to contribute to disaster risk reduction. This will also be an official launching of U-INSPIRE Indonesia.
Qualification :
- Indonesian Youth (15-24 years old) or young professionals (40 years old and below)
- Possess good knowledge of SFDRR
- Fluent in English
- Good Leadership
- Experienced in activities related to SETI in DRR
- Motivated to contribute through U-Inspire
- Be able to full participate in workshop
- Be ready to present about the role of youth/young professional in Indonesia, when requested.

U-INSPIRE (Youth and Young Professionals on Innovation, Science and Technology Platform fo Resiliency) is a platform of youth and young professionals in science, engineering, technology and innovation (SETI) to accelerate the implementation of disaster risk reduction (DRR) in line with Sendai framework to support DRR policy and action at the local, national and international level.
