[CALL FOR APPLICATIONS] Ideas for Action Incubator Competition

Ideas for Action (I4A), a joint program of the World Bank and the Zicklin Center for Business Ethics Research at the Wharton School, is a youth competition centered around financing sustainable development. Every year, students and young professionals from around the world participate to design innovative ideas for financing and implementing the Sustainable Development Goals. The first place winner of 2018 Ideas for Action is MINO Microbubble Technology developed by a team from Gadjah Mada University, which increases dissolved oxygen in water to improve fish farm yields. In 2019 Ideas for Action, Indonesian team (Komodo Water) and Indonesia/Korea (Damo/Go) have won as runner- ups, while another Indonesian team (Golden Banana Syrup) obtained an honorable mention.

Tanoto Foundation and the Wharton School are pleased to be launching the 2020 Ideas for Action Incubator Competition to invite Indonesian students and young professionals to develop and share their ideas for financing solutions to deliver the SDGs. Five winning teams will receive mentoring andguidance from Wharton School students, one of world’s premier institutions for instruction in businessmanagement.
