Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) East and Southeast Asia conducted Global Accelerator Learning Initiative (GALI) Workshop titled “Acceleration of Accelerators in Asia Pacific” on 12th of November 2019 in Jakarta. The workshop aimed to provide space for discussion and collaboration for accelerators and ecosystem enablers in Asia Pacific.
Benedikta Atika, Impact Investment Lead of ANGIN, spoke at the event to share about ANGIN’s role in supporting accelerators. Not only ANGIN opens access to investors who are part of ANGIN’s membership network, ANGIN also helps accelerators access talents. Atika also shared key learnings based on ANGIN’s observation from working with accelerators.
There were also some other speakers, Tomo Hamakawa (Earth Company Bali), Hau Ly (500 Startups Vietnam), Stephanie Arrowsmith (SecondMuse), and Lily Yu (The Sasakawa Peace Foundation) who shared their insights on different topics. The first half of the session focused on best practice in acceleration model, while the second half discussed more on the funding the acceleration program and tools that can be used to support accelerators.
ANGIN was glad to connect with fellow ecosystem players in supporting entrepreneurs across Asia Pacific.
