On January 30, ANGIN’s January monthly pitching session was held at WeWork, Revenue Tower, Jakarta. The event was attended by our angel investors and partners from Kejora, Global Founders Capital, GnB, and Bhinneka.
There were five startups who got the chance to pitch in front of ANGIN angel investors: Siklus, Mookie, Aturtoko, Mertani, and Perawatku. The startups have been through several rigorous selections process, and undergone mentoring sessions and fundraising pitch training with ANGIN. Each startup got a chance to present their pitch in 5 minutes, followed by 10 minutes of feedback and Q&A session from the investors.
Listed below are the five selected startups:
Siklus
Siklus offers refill vending machines and mobile refill stations as an alternative distribution channels for FMCG brands. By introducing this bulkstore concept into a mainstream market, Siklus aims to reduce single-use plastic consumption.
Mookie
Mookie produces premium-quality baked goods (e.g. cookies, tarts, and cakes) with strong brand story-telling. It currently has 2 outlets in Jakarta and has collaborated with several emerging brands (Pipiltin Cocoa, Mote Mote, Setali).
Aturtoko
Aturtoko is an omnichannel marketplace platform that helps merchants to synchronise orders and stock information from multiple marketplaces into a single platform. It aims to help a broad range of small to medium online sellers to efficiently manage their online sales.
Mertani
Mertani develops sensor technology that assists plantation owners in automatically control their irrigation system. The sensor gather important data which then enables owners to save water and significantly achieve cost reduction.
Perawatku
Perawatku provides an ecosystem where healthcare institutions can meet and interact with a potential pool of qualified healthcare professionals under one system. It also provides training and capacity building for nurses and a gateway to overseas employment.
