Indonesian Future Investment Connection (IFIC) held a one-day seminar on investment last Saturday (7/10) at MM UGM Jakarta. The seminar was aimed to help entrepreneurs understand the overall investment landscape. There were three panels at the event; first panel was related to regulation, second was business and investment strategy from the eyes of successful entrepreneurs themselves, and lastly, investment from the perspective of investors.
ANGIN had the opportunity to be in the third-session panel together with 500Startups (Ashraf Sinclair) and BMT Association. At this session, we discussed mainly types of funding available (angel investor, venture capital, Baitul Mal wat Tamwil), the role of each capital provider across entrepreneurs’ life cycle, up to the requirements from each party. Seeing how interactive the audiences were, we truly had a great time!
