Since 2015, the NextDev program sponsored by Telkomsel goes to various cities in Indonesia every year to look for the best technology startups that focus on creating positive impacts and social contributions. NextDev have been hosted in these cities including: Medan, Batam, Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Malang, Denpasar, Pontianak, Balikpapan, Samarinda, Makassar, and Gorontalo.
In 2019, The NextDev Talent Scouting will be held again to continue its impact. The NextDev Talent Scouting is a place to find the best Indonesian tech startups. This five-year program accommodates potential and encourages positive contributions from young people that utilizes technology effectively to create digital applications within its mission in solving existing societal problems.
This year’s The NextDev Talent Scouting theme is “Social Impact and Go Beyond” with the aim of strengthening its social impact generated by early stage startups by developing their capabilities and capabilities in terms of business, soft skills, and hard skills. David Soukhasing, Managing Director of ANGIN had the opportunity to be one of the judge in the NextDev Talent Scouting Denpasar, which will be held in HARRIS Hotel Denpasar on 23th May 2019
The NextDev Talent Scouting participants will present their ideas in pitching day which takes place from April to October 2019 in nine cities. Then the judge will assess and help choose the best candidate in each city. 30 The best startups from the nine cities will be invited to take part in The NextDev Summit 2019.
