ANGIN is launching Wirausaha Hijau program to unlock capital for early-stage entrepreneurs in agriculture and food system value chain.

About the program

Wirausaha Hijau is a 12-month program targeting entrepreneurs with innovative solutions to solve challenges in agricultural and sustainable food systems value chain. 

The program aims to encourage innovation and entrepreneurial growth in the agricultural and food system value chain in Indonesia through access to funding, tailored mentoring, and access to potential partnerships. This program is made possible with the support of The Ford Foundation and Ministry of Internal Affairs Republic of Indonesia.

Program Activities:

ACCESS TO FUNDING*

(IDR 500 million to IDR 1 billion)

Access to funding from trusted investors facilitated by highly experienced ANGIN team.

* Subjected to the final results of due diligence and negotiation processes

MENTORSHIP

(6 Months)

A structured mentoring package for 6 months from experts and practitioners who will support business development.

ACCESS TO NETWORK

(as-needed basis)

Access to potential markets, community supporting business activities, pilot project support partners, and others.

General Business Criteria

Engaged in agricultural value chains and/or food systems

Located in Indonesia with at least 1 (one) founder is an Indonesian citizen

At least already at the MVP / prototype stage (post-conceptual stage)

Have a proven business model with growth potential

Committed to uplift gender equality and women empowerment

Seeking funding / investment (fundraising) in the next 3 - 9 months

This program is free of charge. All entrepreneurs that meets the registration criteria can join this program.

The required time commitment is 3 months (October – December 2021) for fundraising process, and 6 months (January – July 2022) for mentoring and consultation process.

Entrepreneurs who provide solutions to problems in the agricultural and agroforestry sector. Business forms can be similar but not limited to: e-commerce / agricultural marketplace, p2p lending for farmers, commodity cultivation, agricultural technology development, and others.

Funding depends on the outcome of the review, due diligence and negotiations with investors involved in the program.
